12.12.2020. Jaunākais "dreamgaze" no ASV

Raidījumā apskatīsim septiņas grupas no ASV, kas darbojas "dreampop/shoegaze" žanra ietvaros.Trīs grupas būs pirmoreiz.   Gana interesanta, sava pieeja "dreampopam" klausāma Ziemeļkarolīnas kvarteta "Cor de Lux" debijas LP "Dream Life" (2020).   Jaunā Pensilvānijas kvarteta ar interesanto nosaukumu "Kali Ma and the Garland of Arms" vokāliste šķiet ir pirms divdesmit gadiem aprindās populārā kvinteta "Mira" (4AD) vokālistes Regīnas jaunā reinkarnācija! Grupa izdevusi jau divus LP (2018/2019), jaunu EP "People" (2020) un oktobrī singlu "Loophole" ar video.   Vēl pirmoreiz būs Sanfrancisko (CA) "tweegaze" kvartets "Seablite" ar debijas LP "Grass Stains and Novocaine" (2019) un otro EP "High​-​Rise Mannequins" (2020). Kalifornija joprojām saglabā šī žanra vadošo pozīciju ar specializētiem radio, klubiem un grupām.   Divi galvenie raidījuma albumi būs no Losandželosas grupām. Debijas LP "Heaven Inches Away" (2020) no trio "Soft Blue Shimmer" (apskatījām viņu debijas EP (2019)). Ļoti pārliecinošs žanra produkts, kas varētu būt šī gada žanra top pieci.   Un trešais LP "The Long Now" (2020) no ASV/UK septiņu mūziķu apvienības "The Luxembourg Signal". Grupas otrais LP "Blue Field" (2017) tika atzīts manā skatījumā par gada labāko albumu! Grupas specifika ir divas vokālistes ar atšķirīgu skanējumu - Beth Arzy (UK/"Jetstream Pony"/"Trembling Blue Stars") un Betsy Moyer (US).   Pēdējā pusgadā divi jauni dubultsingli iznākuši Sanfrancisko kvintetam "Treasvre", kurš bija raidījumā arī šovasar.   Raidījuma ieskaņā būs Ohaio kvintets "The Cordial Sins" ar EP "In Memory" (2019).
